What is Cisco Networking Academy ?

Cisco Networking Academy (netacad) is a Cisco Systems education program which goal is to prepare students for certification exams such as CCNA, CCNP, ... Courses are available in about 9000 local academies over 165 different countries around the world. Packet Tracer 7.0can be freely downloaded from Cisco web site by students and instructors members of the netacad program.

Update 17/09/2014 : The Cisco networking academy CCNA Routing & Switching 5.0 course material (pka files, ...) is affected by Packet Tracer 6.1.1 bug fixes. Cisco released an updated version of CCNA Routing & Switching (v5.02) to addess this problem. The new material is not backward compatible with previous Packet Tracer versions. Have a look on cisco official website for more informations about this issue and to download packet tracer 6.1 + the new CCNA Routing & Switching course

Cisco recently opened Netacad registration and Packet Tracer 7.0 download page to everyone for free. There is no need anymore to be a registered teacher or student to access the academy ressources. After registration, Cisco provides self-paced courses for Packet Tracer 7.0 training (Packet Tracer 010616 course) as well as other courses like the I2IoE Internet of Everything discovery course
